Ferngrove Frankland River Shiraz 2008
Ferngrove was established in 1998 in Frankland River, one of the most isolated and pristine wine growing regions in the world. Here they have quickly forged a stellar reputation as a dedicated producer of outstanding wines. Situated 90kms from Western Australia's Great Southern coast, between the cooling influence of the convering Southern and Indian oceans. Frankland River's cool climate encourages grapes to ripen with remarkable consistency. This allows Ferngrove to deliver wines with characteristic delicacy and clear varietal character. An amalgam of licorice all-sorts,blueberry and ripe plum on the bouquet precede an elegant palate which is opulent in structure and finishes with finesse and length.
