Maycas DEL LImari RSV Syrah
Maycas, Quechua for 'arable lands', were the economic building blocks of the Inca Empire. In the north of Chile the once-Inca,luminous Limari valley opens into a wide river basin containing mineral-rich soils and receives a constant fresh breeze off the Pacific Ocean. For Maycas Reserva wines, each dotted circle represennts a month in the growing cycle from bud break to harvest in a land whose growing season is perhaps longer than anywhere else on Earth. Picked from vineyards on the outskirts of Chile's Atacama Desert, this wine exudes blackberries and dark chocolate, full bodied with an extraordinary depth of flavour.
