Nashwauk Shiraz 2007 McLaren Vale
Nashwauk vineyard overlooks the coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula & the township of McLaren Vale. It takes its name from a ship, the Nashwauk, which was wrecked off nearby coast on May 13th 1855. The design on our label depicts the contours and valleys of our vineyard, located in the seaview sub region of McLaren Vale. Fruit was fermented in stainless steel for seven days, followed by 12 months maturation in one,two and three year French and American oak barriques. Bright red berry fruits, earthy, spicy characters fill the palate. Concentrated & firm with a long finish.
